Jonathan Lamar Davis' Obituary
Jonathan Davis, 54, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, in a local hospital. He was born on December 11, 1971, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to Jonathan Davis and Agnes Simpson. He attended Howard High School.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Agnes Simpson; father, Jonathan Davis; sisters, Felicia Davis and Tracy Davis; grandparents, Roy and Lola Davis, and Weldon and Rebecca Brooks.
Those left to cherish his memories include his daughters, Lacretia Grayson and Chandranique Bush, both of Chattanooga; former wife, Tonya Davis; 4 grandchildren, Laila Bush, Erin, Eric, and Eris McClendon; brother, Darren “Black” Thomas; niece, Chantel Isbell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jonathan will lie-in-state on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel.
