Johnny Williams, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in a local hospital. He attended Kirkman High School. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Kate Williams; sister, Phyliss Williams; aunt, Mary Jo (Ben) Lavaughn; grandfather, Johnny Williams.
Those left to cherish his memories include his son, Christopher (Marietta D.) Williams; daughter, Contessa Garner; 4 grandchildren, Zane Williams, Shah Witherow, Bryaunna Loyd, and Chrystion McKibben; 1 great-grandchild, Ahbry Alayash; father, Cecil Williams, Sr.; brothers, Cecil C. (Barbara K.) Williams, Jr., and Edward Williams; uncle, Alton Williams; aunts, Barbara Williams and Faye Williams, both of Chattanooga; close, dear cousin, Mary Sims; a host of other relatives and friends.
Johnny will lie-in-state on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:30 in the chapel with Pastor Ron Cook, Sr. as Eulogist.
