Johnny Elijah Harrison's Obituary
Johnny Harrison passed away peacefully November 29, 2024 in his home in Chattanooga, Tn. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Johnny Harrison, who left this world at the age of 64. Born on June 17, 1960, Johnny brought laughter, warmth, and a sense of joy to all who knew him. Johnny was a proud father to his sons, Frankie Davis and Quintell Wilson, loving brother to David Harrison, brother-in-law to Elizabeth Browdy Harrison, a loving father-in-law to Sharika Wilson and Sonya Cross. He cherished his grandchildren; Braydon Davis, Kyannah Wilson, and Quintell Wilson Jr., and an uncle to LaQuanna Chatman, LaToya Harrison, Lacresha and Darin Skillern, Jr., Whitney Harrison and Stephanie Harrison, and his cousin Randall David, and close friend Clifford Davis who brought endless light into his life.
Johnny was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Laura Emma Harrison, and his brother, Rodney Harrison. He is survived by his family, who will continue to honor his legacy of love, humor, and dedication.
For over 30 years, Johnny dedicated his life to his profession as a truck driver, a career that exemplified his hard work and commitment. In his later years, he proudly worked for Roofing & Supply Co., where he was admired for his reliability and strong work ethic.
Beyond his career, Johnny was known as an outgoing, funny, and kind-hearted man who touched the lives of everyone around him. He was a wonderful dad, an amazing granddad, a loyal friend, a loving brother, and a gift to the world. His infectious laugh and warm spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
He will lie-in-state on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to gather to share memories and honor his incredible journey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Taylor Funeral Home. Johnny’s legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He was a light in this world, and we are forever grateful for the time we had with him.
