Johnnie Mary Jones' Obituary
Johnnie Mary Jones, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, in a local hospital. She was a 1962 graduate of Howard High School and received her Bachelor’s degree from UTC. Johnnie was a member of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Widow’s Harvest Ministry. She was formerly employed by the Chattanooga Housing Authority as a Property Manager. Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and John Elder, Sr.; husband, Paul Jones, Sr.; brothers, Allie C. Elder and John Elder, Jr.; sister, Lavada J. Elder. Survivors include her son, Michael McReynolds; 3 grandchildren; brother, William Lee (Villanueva) Elder; sister, Alice Ann McGowan, all of Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
