John Edward Smith's Obituary
John Edward Smith, 52, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, in a local hospital. He was a 1988 graduate of Howard High School. He was employed by Parkridge Hospital and Mars-Wrigley in Cleveland, Tennessee. John was preceded in death by his father, John E. Hadnot; mother, Ella Jean Smith; and son, Jonathon Aaron Smith. Survivors include his wife, Terrance “Teri” Smith; sisters, Vanessa Smith and Chandra Smith, both of Chattanooga; mother-in-law, Barbara White; stepson, William White; stepdaughter, Katherine Benn; 5 grandchildren, KaSean, Kameron, Kayden, Ka’Liyah, and Kamiya McCoy; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Ronald Cook, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
