John Green, Jr.'s Obituary
John L. Green, Jr., 76, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 in a local hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Greater Second Missionary Baptist Church where he was a part of the Ambassadors. John was also a member of the Elks Lodge. He retired from Container Corporation of America. John was preceded in death by his father, John L. Green, Sr.; and mother, Vinnie Lee Green Thaxton. Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Diana Green of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Niqcole R. Jackson and Michael Dominique Dave; great-grandson, Key’Andre M. Dave; one sister, Delores G. Hayes; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Steve Caudle will serve as the eulogist.
