John Burton III's Obituary
John “Nick” Burton, III, 79, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 in a local hospital. He was employed with TN Plywood as a Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Josephine Burton, Jr.; sisters, Nellie-Jo Sales, Patricia Moore, and Julia Parks. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Glenda Burton; sons, Wayne Pope of Chattanooga, Myron Burton of Antioch, TN, and Desmond Burton of Chattanooga; five grandchildren; brothers, Charles Burton of Milwaukee, WI and George (Alice) McCrary of Chattanooga; sisters, Carolyn Hughes of Ooltewah, TN and Agnes Lucas of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Elder Quinton Dorris will serve as the eulogist and Evangelist Erica Dorris will serve as the officiant.
