JoAnn Hughes' Obituary
JoAnn Hughes, 76, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, in a Ft. Pierce, Florida hospital. She was graduate of Howard High School. She attended Chattanooga State Community College. Joann was a member of Christ Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Doris Boyd; and brother, Levone Boyd. Survivors include her daughters, Beverly Nicholson, Pamela Garrett, both of Chattanooga, Sandra Wade of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Alma Mitchell Blocker of Chattanooga; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great children; sisters, Linda Jones, Dorothy Ussery, Teresha Finch, Darlene Boyd, Robbie (Tiny) Boyd, Rosia Boyd, and Genny Boyd, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Mark Garrett will be giving words of comfort.
