Jhamonne Desante Colvin Woods, 32, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024, in a local hospital. He attended Tyner High School. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jimmy W. Colvin, Sr. and Nathaniel Woods; grandmother, Brenda Toney; and uncle, Brian A. Colvin, Sr. Survivors include his father, Jimmy (Pearl) Colvin, Jr.; mother, Charnese Woods; stepmother, Angela Lay; grandparents, Bonnie Woods, Linda Lay, Terrie Colvin, and Charles Toney; brothers, Kevin Howard, Jr., Paul Johnson, Dewanzhia Woods, and Ravon Cousin; sisters, Dejontae Colvin, Adia Colvin, Briantae Woods, Omri Johnson, and Hadassah Cousins, all of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Jhamonne will lie-in-state on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 10:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. There will be no service. Inurnment in Highland Memorial Gardens.
