Jesse James "JJ' Vaughn's Obituary
Jesse James “JJ” Vaughn, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 in a local hospital. He was a 1970 graduate of Riverside High School. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Ministry. Jesse retired from Buzzi Unicem USA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Florence Vaughn; and sister, Mary Hermon. Survivors include his wife, Janelle Vaughn; sons, Gabriel (LaTonia) Vaughn, Sr., Antawan Vaughn, Sr., and Charles (Kyndis) Edwards III; daughter, Paula Hudson, all of Chattanooga; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Terry (Linda) Moore; a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Wayne Johnson will serve as the eulogist.
