Jesse Harve Burts' Obituary
Jesse Harve Burts, 83, of Rossville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in a healthcare facility in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. He was a 1956 graduate of AC Carter High School. He was a professional truck driver and worked for Johnson Motor Lines for many years. Jesse married the love of his life, Rosa Mae Shropshire, in 1962. He was a service tech for Advantage Health Care and retired in early 2000s. Jesse was a faithful member of and song leader for Alton Park Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Robbie Lee Burts; two sisters Peggy Burts and Sandra Reese; two brothers, Thomas and Ernest Burts, Jr.; and wife of 54 years, Rosa Mae Burts. Survivors include his sons, Steve Jerome Burts of Rossville, GA, Ronald Christopher (Michele) Burts of Douglasville, GA, and Ricosta Sanchez Burts of Rossville; daughter; Jessie Mae Burts of Houston, Tx; grandchildren, Ciara Smith, LaDarrius Burts, Terence Burts, Kyndall Burts, Ashlee Burts, Shacovia Williams, Jicosta Burts, Ricosta Burts, Jr., Mya Burts, and Elijah Burts; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Nora Robbs of Gary, IN; other relatives and friends. Brother Phillip Henderson is the eulogist.
