Jerry Mingo, Jr.'s Obituary
Jerry Mingo, Jr., 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024. He attended Kirkman Technical High School. Jerry was a member of Greater Pilgrim Missionary Church. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mingo; father, Jerry Mingo, Sr.; mother, Daisy Louise Wright; grandparents, George and Amanda Wright; brother, James DeWayne Evans; brother-in-law, Ray Charles Powe. Survivors include daughter, Claudette McClendon of Chattanooga; four grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brothers, Lary (Susie) Mingo and Danny Mingo; sisters, Nettie Elaine Powe of Chattanooga, and Tonya Evette Webb of California; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He will lie-in-state on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Bobby Adamson as eulogist.
