Jerome Laster, Sr.'s Obituary
Jerome Laster, Sr., 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in the Hospice Care Center. He attended Rossville High School. Jerome was formerly employed by CSL Plasma for many years. He was a member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church. Jerome was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Mae Porter; grandparents, Queen Esther Porter and Claude Pasley; son, Terrell Taylor; and sister, Darlene Laster. Survivors include his sons, Jerome Laster, Jr. of Knoxville, TN, Harry Alexander, II, Aaron Smiley, all of Chattanooga; daughters, Amissa (Tyson) Keller, Jerrika Laster, Breanna Parrish, and Sanaa Alexis Myree, all of Chattanooga; 17 grandchildren; father, Theodore R. Laster of El Paso, TX; brothers, Michael Laster and Herman Langston, both of Chickamauga, GA; sister, Thereska Laster of Thomaston, GA; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Jerome will lie-in-state on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday, May 30, 2025, at 9 a.m. in chapel with Pastor Clint Waller as the Eulogist. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
