Jeraldine Hymes Hutchins “Baby Sister”, 73, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her residence. She attended Riverside High School. She attended Rose of Sharon Baptist Church. Jeraldine was a Foster Grandparent for Siskin Hospital. Jeraldine was preceded in death by her husbands, Issac Kaye Bailey and James Hutchins; mother, Beatrice Hymes; father, Edward Hymes, Sr.; brother, Edward (Janet) Hymes, Jr.; and grandson, Jerodrick Washington. Survivors include her daughters, Serprena (James) Chanell and Loretta Bailey (Tim Humphrey), both of Chattanooga; 6 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Hymes and Stella “Babydoll” Hymes, both of Chattanooga; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Michelle Winston will be the eulogist.
