Jeanette Kirk Dupree's Obituary
Jeanette Dupree, 63, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in a local medical facility. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter Wade Lee Kirk; mother, Mary Newby; sister, Andrea Denise Kirk; grandfather, John Newby; grandmother, Nellie Mae Goosby. Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Tameka Kirk and Antionette Dupree, both of Chattanooga, and Latasha Dupree, of Atlanta; sons, Simeon Dupree, Horace Hector III, and Marquail Hector, all of Atlanta, GA; 19 grandchildren; brothers, Michael Newby and Marvin Kirk, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Judy (Lonnell) Reynolds and Annette Kirk Rucker, both of Chattanooga, and Claire (Gary) Dickens of California; aunts, Minnie Ray of Chattanooga, and Sally Woods of Arizona. Jeanette will lie-in-state on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.
