Jasmine Johnson, 28, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her beloved baby brother, James T. McClendon, IV; and grandfather, James T. McClendon, Jr. Those left to cherish her memories include her mother, Shatonya R. Johnson; father, James T. (Tanyell) McClendon, III; grandparents, Renita Johnson and Maxine McClendon; brothers, Jaylen Johnson and Ja’Vonta McClendon; sisters, Tangie Johnson, Jamie Johnson, Kaylen Johnson, and JaySha McClendon; uncle, Terrance Johnson, Sr.; aunt, Scherrie Johnson; niece, Jalani Clay; nephew, Jeremy Davis, Jr., all of Chattanooga; and a host of godchildren. Jasmine will lie-in-state on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral will follow at 12:00 noon in the chapel. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
