Janice M. Bradley's Obituary
Janice Mae Boynton Bradley, 68, of Chattanooga, departed this earthly life peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2023, and went to the Kingdom of Jesus and Jehovah God as an angel. She was born December 10, 1954 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Carrie M. Boynton and Frampton Boynton of Hasting, Florida. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a life-long member of Greater Friendship Missionary Church. She was a 1972 graduate of Riverside High School. She was also a C.N.A. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie and Frampton Boynton; husband, Donald Bradley; uncle, Grady Smith; sisters, Emmal, Emma Lee Matthews, and Gloria Jean Shepherd; brother, Jimmy Lee Boynton; and nephews, Anthony Shepherd, Michael Boynton, Alex Lewis Boynton, and Tony Boynton. Survivors include her sons, Steven (Cynthia) Bradley, Bobby (Tracey) Bradley, and Johnny Woodley, III; daughter, Jonneca Woodley; sister, Frankie Rick; brother, Alexander Boynton, Grady Boynton, and Jeremiah Boynton, all of Chattanooga; 18 grandchildren, Steven, Jr., Steven, III, Nadyeaha, Chatiana (Bobby) Bradley, Coretta Brown, Nayneisha Bradley, Jeremiah (Jonneca) Williams, Jaquisha Williams, Alfred Woodley, Deadrick Sims, Denasha Sims, Ronald Woodley, Jamarquez (Johnny) Woodley, Johnny Woodley, Toyriec Woodley, Keeley Woodley, Messiah Woody, Tynaijah Bush, Faydra Woodley, and Johnniah Dews; 9 great-grandchildren, Jermaine Bradley, Demetrius, ZaNiyah, Kamora Jenkins, Maliyah Jackson, Laila Yearby, Naomi Sims, Alex Sims, and Ta’Miyah Woodley; 11 nephews; 8 nieces; a host of cousins; other relatives and friends. Janice will lie-in-state on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Anthony Williams as the eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
