Jammal " Tru" Alphonzo Taylor's Obituary
Jammal “Tru” Alfonzo Taylor, 36, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was a 2006 graduate of Howard High School. He was formerly employed by ADM. Jammal was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Taylor; grandfather, Ocie Lykes; and great-grandmother, Ida Mae “Nanny” Lykes. Survivors include his sons, Jamarris Taylor and Ja’Yun Taylor; daughters, Jamia, Serenity, Jewelz Taylor, Sincere, and Jerinae; loving partner, Satoria Baker; mother, Monique Lykes; sister, Dominique Taylor; brother, Darrell vLykes; grandmother, Juanita Lykes; aunts and uncles, Zenna, Deirda, LaJun, Vincent, April (Andre) Lockhart, and LaQuita Lykes; one niece; a host of cousins; family members; and friends. Jammal will lie-in-state on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 12 noon in the chapel with Donald McDaniel giving words of comfort. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
