Mrs. Jamie Berlinda Shropshire's Obituary
Jamie Berlinda “Lynn” Shropshire, 64, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, in a local hospital. She was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools and was a 1980 graduate of Howard High School.
She was formerly employed as a CNA with private sitting services. Jamie was a member of East Third Street Church of Christ.
Jamie was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Ruth Cooper; brother, Larry Jackson; sister, Hardie Manns; grandson, Antonio Sparks; father-in-law, James Shrophsire, Sr.; and nephews, D’Marquis Bell and Jeffrey Jackson.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, James Shropshire, Jr.; sons, Roland Jackson and Malcolm Jackson; daughters, Reneka Sparks and Treneka Jackson, both of Chattanooga; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, James Porter, Jr.; sister, Kimberly Bell; brother-in-law, Daniel Shropshire, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 3 p.m. in the Chapel with Brother John R. Taylor, Sr. giving words of comfort.
