Jamie Jones' Obituary
Jamie Henrietta Jones, 38, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, September 3, 2021 in a local hospital. She was a student at Tyner High School and graduated from Central High School in 2001. Jamie was a member of First Baptist Church of Washington Hills. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Marie and Leonard Robinson; grandparents, Cash Toney, Jr., and Osborne and Henrietta Jones; uncles and aunts, James Osborne (Marbaline) Jones, Lorine (Marvin) Richardson, and Walter Turner; close friend, Candace Garrett. Survivors include her daughters, Ja’Mia Ansley and Jada Ansley; mother, Phyllis (Frank) Henderson; father, Carlton (Clarrisa) Jones, Sr.; maternal grandmother, Gloria Toney, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Carlton (Sabrina) Jones, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Winfield Toney of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Angela (Anthony) Alford, Sanmequail Smith, both of Chattanooga, and Tiffany Harper of Atlanta; uncles, Darnell (Pat) Toney, Kendall (Tracy) Toney, and Dyral (Kim) Toney; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives; special friends, Brianna Birdine, Latosha Patterson, Ariel Harris and other friends. Minister Marcus McDaniel will serve as the eulogist.
