James Harold Sutton's Obituary
James Harold Sutton, 81, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025. He was a graduate of Howard High School and attended Greater Friendship Primitive Baptist Church. He was also formerly employed by Wheland Foundry.
James was preceded in death by his parents, J. C. Sutton and Annie (Tom) McDonald; siblings, Jack C. Sutton and William Charles Lebron Sutton.
Survivors include his son, Prynce Antonio Sutton of Murfreesboro, TN; stepdaughter, Cheryl Sutton Myree of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Kingston Sutton, Michael Ford, and TaMeka Ford; great-grandchildren, LaMichael Ford, Nicholas Ford, and Iyelle Ford; great-great-grandchild, Emerson Hodges; sister, Bettye Sutton of Clarksville, TN; nephews, Karlton Sutton, Lebron Sutton, and Marquese Fuget; nieces, Sherri Sutton, Venus Labaron, D’Ashli Sutton-Shannon, and Annika Sutton; favorite cousin, Sharon Denmark; other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
