James Eddie "Jim" Phillips, Sr.'s Obituary
James Eddie “Jim” Phillips, Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his residence. He was a 1959 graduate of Howard High School. He was a member of Washington Hills United Methodist Church. James was a part of the Chattanooga Orchestra. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Elizabeth Phillips; sister, Francena Craighead; and niece, Sharonda Featherstone. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Luetricia Phillips; son, James Phillips, Jr.; daughter, Nikita Stubblefield; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Carlton McDaniel and John McDaniel; sisters-in-law, Tommye Bryson and Janet McDaniel; special friend, Willie Hammonds, all of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Terryl James will serve as the eulogist.
