James Calvin Moore, Sr., 77, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at his residence. He retired from Moccasin Bend as a custodian. He was preceded in death by his father, Hercules Moore, Sr.; mother, Mamie Lou Moore; and brother, Roger Moore. Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Veronica Moore; son, James Calvin Moore, Jr. of Chattanooga; brothers, Hercules (Charolette) Moore, Jr. and Ernest Lee Moore, both of Chattanooga; sisters, Gloria Triplett, Alberta Cantrell, both of Chattanooga, and Glenda Moore Rivera of Killeen, TX; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.Brother Brasper Wortham will be giving the discourse.
