James Wesley Jones, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in a local hospital. He was baptized at an early age. James was a dedicated CARTA bus driver. He was preceded in death by his mother, Retha Hayes; father, Fred Jones; aunt, Minnie Norwood; uncles, James Hayes and Arthur Hayes; wife, Maxine Cousin. Survivors include his sister, Freddie Clay; sister-in-law, Patricia Emmons; brother-in-law, Wadie Suttles; stepchildren, Carla Cousin, Ivan (Beverly) Cousin; devoted granddaughter, Deshayla Wright; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, devoted, Sherry (Hayward Cotton) Lewis and Denise Readus; devoted great-nephews, Ricky Sheppard and Tristan Clay, 5 great-nieces and nephews; 3 great-grand-nieces; 6 great-grandnephews; devoted cousins, Eddie Norwood and Sandra Jones; devoted friend, Carstella and others.
