James Roy Dawson, Sr.'s Obituary
James Roy Dawson, Sr., 80, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 in a Birmingham, Alabama hospice facility. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Virginia Dawson; brother, Fred Dawson, Jr.; and stepdaughter, Sharon McAfee. Survivors include his sons, James Dawson, Jr., Jonathan Dawson, and Donald Williams, all of Chattanooga; daughter, Donna Dawson McCaskey of Moody, AL; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
