Jamar Torome Jones- Williams' Obituary
Jamar “Bro Bro” Torome Jones-Williams, 44, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024. He attended Howard High School and received his GED from Chattanooga State. He was a member of The MET OFF MAIN Church. Jamar was preceded in death by his mother, Valencia A. Jones; father, Torome Williams; and grandparents, Robert Jones, Felmon and Annie Williams. Survivors include his grandmother, Mary Magdalene Jones; brothers, Cordell Jones, William Tyree Jones, and Alex Jones, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Kanika Jones of Chattanooga, Kiara Ballard and Shara Williams, both of Austin, TX; uncles, Orlando Jones, Carlton Williams, Larry Williams, Dannie Williams, Darrell (Jamesetta) Jones, Anthony Jones, Ricardo Jones, all of Chattanooga, and Jamal Jones of Atlanta, GA; aunts, Cathy (Richard) Bragg, Valentina Jones, Vernetta Jones, Vernell McClure, all of Chattanooga, and Clairee (Jake) Stanley of Atlanta, GA; aunt, Martha Williams; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Jamar will lie-in-state on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor Baron Ammons as the eulogist. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery.
