Jacqueline Claudette Williams' Obituary
Jacqueline Claudette Williams, 60, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, in a local hospital. She was born April 10, 1962, to the late Patricia Bell Williams and Willie Williams, Sr. Jackie, as she was often called, was a member of the 1980 graduating class of Howard High School. She received her A.S. degree from McKenzie College in Medical Terminology. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Bell Williams; father, Willie Williams, Sr; Godmother, Janice Jo Lawson; aunts, Idella Davis, Renna Bell, Janie Gates, Sandra Bell Rice, Thelma Williams, and Ruby Williams; uncles, Gillray L. Gates, Edward Gates, Charlie Bell, and Cleveland Bell, Jr. Survivors include her son, Courtney Woodruff; three granddaughters, Kourtnie Woodruff, London Woodruff, and Raiven Woodruff; one grandson, Kinsgley Woodruff; brother, Ernest Williams; extended family, Seaborn (Mickey) Battle; stepmother, Emma Williams; other siblings, Shirley Smith, Willie Williams, Jr., Derrick Williams, and Valencia (Lawrence) Brewer; aunts, Vashti McDonald, Mae (Calvin) Woods, Betty McCary, Susie Martin, Jacqueline Bradley, and Joyce Clark; uncles, Leon (Barbara) Bell, Leroy (Sharon) Bell, and John Bell; devoted cousins, Veronica Boyd and Eric Rice; devoted friend, Dorothy Johnson; a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Glenn P. Taylor will serve as the eulogist along with other ministers assisting.
