Jacqueline Denise Parker's Obituary
Jacqueline Denise Parker, 66, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Jackie was a proud alum of Alabama A&M University and worked at Unum (Provident) for 23 years before finishing her career at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Erskine Parker Sr., mother, Bernice L. Parker, and grandmother, Mamie L. Moore.
Jackie was a member of Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church. She loved reading and shopping, and she will be remembered always for her sweet spirit, her sense of humor, and her beautiful, infectious smile.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Regina Miller, Violet Ann Robinson of Huntsville, AL; and Barbara Allen of Bear, DE; brother, Willie Erskine (Sharon) Parker, Jr. of Huntsville, AL; her loving and devoted nephew and caregiver, Xavier L. Miller; a loving and devoted aunt, Margaret (Roger) Ruffin; loving and devoted nieces, Glenda Parker, Linda (Randall) Milton, Bernita Parker, all of Huntsville, AL; special great nieces and nephews, Danisha (Deron) Baker, DeArius Parker, Dameon Parker, Deonte (Aubrey) Parker, Tierra (Anthony) Peyton, Kierra Drake, and Deshondra Parker, all of Huntsville, AL; dear and devoted cousins, Kristy Flanagan and Wendy Ruffin; other cousins, Jimmy Ingram, Jr. and Tracy (Robyn) Ingram, Sr.; and Cynthia Shotwell, Wash Lacy III, Ray Lacy, all of Akron, OH; special friends, Norma Cooper, Teena Marie Keys, Beverly Preston, Stephanie Williams, Alree Bowser, Alisia Brown, Tayron Ruffin-Pitts, Judy Beeman, Michael Johnson, and Brenda Hughes; caregivers, Tracee Porter, Ashia Pickett, and Booke Madding; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00am at Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church. The body will lie in state one hour before the service. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
