My deepest condolences and prayers to the family. My soul is sad... Mama Izola was a beautiful soul. I met her on Saturday December 14 in the Embassy Suites restaurant in Midtown Atlanta. She walked in and sat across the table from me... We spoke and I could hardly take my eyes off of her. My husband saw the same thing I did and whispered in my ear "are you okay? don't cry"... I told him I was fine but that wasn't true. We both saw my mom walk in and sit before us. My eyes started to well up with tears and when she noticed she sweetly asked me " do you have allergies" I responded, in tears, 'no ma'am... you remind me of my mom". We talked about my mom passing and she provided a great deal of comfort. Before departing, she said, let's exchange numbers and keep in touch... we did. She told me the Lord had just blessed her with another daughter; I was blessed to have her, even for such a short time. We last communicated on Friday, 10 January. She wished me a happy snow day and reminisced about the times she had snowball battles with her granddaughter. I hadn't heard from her, and she did not respond to my last text, so I knew something was wrong. My internet search confirmed my fears. I'm sorry I never got the chance to see her again. I'll cherish the short time we had and never forget her. Rest in Paradise Mama I... I love you forever. Your other daughter, Candace💔

No tears in heaven
By
Alex Lennox
No fears in heaven no tears there too
No old age, for everything is brand new
Eye has not seen nor can the mind conceive
What Jesus has for those that believe
Trust in Him no matter what
With Him Hope, and cast in your lot
No one is the worse off for coming to him
For he is able to forgive all your sin
And when our time here on earth is done
He will welcome and present us to his Son
And there upon the glassy sea
He will embrace you and me
No Tears in heaven, a new song we will sing
When we stand by the throne of Jesus our King
Our life on earth, we will remember no more
And around his throne, God we will adore
With Heartfelt Sympathy

Ms Izola was a wonderful Queen. I enjoyed meeting and talking with her at many Red Hat Society events. My condolences to the family and to her Red Hat sisters.
