Isaiah Foster's Obituary
Isaiah “Zay” Foster, 22, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024. Isaiah attended East Ridge High School, class of 2021. He was a great kid with a big heart and always had a smile on his face. Isaiah loved to play basketball with his friends. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather, Alfonso Wilkerson; maternal grandmother, Debra Harris; uncle, Justin Peoples. He leaves to cherish his memories is his father, Kaliym Malik Foster of Athens, GA; mother, Leah Walker of Chattanooga; step-father, Alfred Walker of Chattanooga; grandmother, Tanya (Kenneth) Marshall of Covington, GA and Gail Walker (G-Mama); great-grandmother, Janet Johnson of Charlotte, NC; brothers, Israel Walker and Zaire Harris; sister, Shanovia Walker; uncles, Daamin Foster, Derek Harris and Al Walker; great-uncles, Alphonso M. Wilkerson of Chattanooga, Donald L. Johnson, Jr. of Macon, GA, Mukhtaar Muhammad of Charlotte, NC, Ahamadu Massard of Jonesboro, GA; aunts, Amiyra Pryor of Philadelphia, PA, Jamika Walker, Shannon Walker both of Chattanooga and Jennifer Walker of Buffalo, NY; great-aunt, Wylena Jones of Charlotte, NC; godmother, Joanna McKibbens; cousins, Kristen Harris of Smyrna, TN, Lauryen Harris of Nashville, TN, Jada Walker and Jamaal Walker both of Chattanooga; a host of other relatives and best friends. Isaiah will lie-in-state on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel with Minister Brown Lee as the eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
