Ira Apollo Hall, Sr.'s Obituary
Ira Apollo Hall, Sr., “Nick”, 78, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, in a Lawrenceville, Georgia hospital. He attended Riverside High School. Ira was employed by Standard Coosa Thacker Company and retired after many years of service. He was a member of Berean Christian Church. Ira was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Alice Hall; son, Ira Apollo Hall, Jr.; and sister, Eula “Chi Chi” Hall. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Jacqueline Hall; son, Stephen Hall of Atlanta, GA; daughters, Iranetta (Terence) Willis of Atlanta, Nichole Hall of Chattanooga, and Kiki Hall of Atlanta; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grand-children; sisters, Angela Hall Edwards, Bertha Hall Young, Curtis (Joe) Hall Morton, and Wiley Joe; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Ira will lie-in-state on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Deacon Cornelius Grimes as the eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
