Ilene Davis' Obituary
Ilene Davis, 94, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at her residence. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Sheffield; mother, Geneva Graham; and husband, Jeff D. Davis. Survivors include her sons, Barry Davis, James (Lisa) Davis, and Allen (Laquesha) Davis; daughters, Cheryllene D. Clark and Maxine D. Hill, all of Chattanooga; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Queen E. Ray and Patricia (Jesse) Deloach, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Ilene will lie-in-state on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Public viewing will be from 9-11 a.m. and the funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel with Pastor James Calhoun as the eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
