Herman Stephen Giles' Obituary
Herman Stephen Giles, 75, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his residence. He was a caring, considerate and devoted husband, a loving, kind, generous and humorous father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Mary Giles; mother-in-law, Mary Copeny; and brother-in-law, Greg Copeny. Survivors include his wife of 49-½ years, Carol Giles; son, Jabari (Nikki) Giles of Pauls Valley, OK.; daughters-in-law, Stephanie Giles of Atlanta, GA and Natalie Giles of Mustang, OK; 5 grandchildren, SéVeda (Preston) Kent, SéVon Mills, SéVari Giles, Shayla Giles, and Syniah Giles; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Velma Giles of Erwin, TN; brothers-in-law, John, Gary and Larry, all of Flint, MI; sister-in-law, Gail of Flint, MI; a host of other relatives, best friends, special friends, and acquaintances. Elder Lionel Hodges will serve as the eulogist. Burial at a later time in a National Cemetery.
