Herana Robinson, Sr.'s Obituary
Herana “Randy” Robinson, Sr., 67, of Chattanooga, departed this earthly life on Monday, June 12, 2023, in the Hospice Care facility. Born on September 3, 1955, he was the youngest of the union between Laura and Sol Robinson, Sr. Randy, as he is affectionately known, retired from the City of Chattanooga after more than 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Sol Robinson, Sr.; sons, Isaac 'Ike' Robinson, Sr. and Herana Robinson, Jr; grandson, Isaac Robinson, Jr.; brothers, Sol Robinson, Jr. and Mac Arthur Robinson; sister, Annie Robinson; and companion, Lestine Knox. Survivors include his daughters, Laura (Darrell Thompson) Turner and Toya Gardner; grandchildren, Eric, Isaiah, Christian, Asia, Raven, Xavier, Marcus, JeVonte, Simeon, Julius, Jaida, O’siah, JeOnte, Jaya, Javonte, Jordan, Jahanna; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Franklin Robinson; sisters, Gradie Carter, and Joann Robinson of Batesville, AR; devoted niece, Georgette Carter; daughter-in-law, Shannon Hitchcox Robinson; sister-in-law, Phyllis Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Herana will lie-in-state on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 10 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery.
