Helen Elizabeth Beck's Obituary
Helen Elizabeth Beck, 90, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at her residence. She was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System. She was a lifelong resident of the Westside Community and one of the first to reside at Golden Gateway. Helen was once employed at The Read House before becoming an entrepreneur. Her passion was caring for her neighborhood, family and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Benny Ware and John Lue Daniels; children, Gus Washington Beck, Jr., Barbara Ann Beck, Shirley Ann Beck, Carolyn "Frosty" Beck Alexander, and Gloria Ann Beck; great-grandchildren, Antwan Glen and Laquoiah Glen; brother, Bennie Ware. Survivors include granddaughters, Jennifer Beck, Nicole Bell, Melicha Beck, Melicha Calhoun, and Tijuana (Lonnie) Terry; grandsons, Antwan (Natasha) Alexander, Charles Alexander, and Carlton (Deonna) Bell; 22 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Leola Richardson; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Ronald B. Cook, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
