Hazel Stella Green's Obituary
Hazel Stella Green, 93, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 in a healthcare facility. She was a member of Mount Canaan Baptist Church where she served on the Mother’s Board and Missionary Committee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Green; parents, Charles and Rose Jackson, Sr.; brothers, Freddie Jackson and Charles Jackson, Jr.; foster sisters, Jewell Woods, Bernice Baker, Doris Johnson, and Ella Chappell; foster brothers, Curtis Woods and Ernest Woods. Survivors include her sons, Maurice (Jayna) Green of Apison, TN, William (Earthareen) Green of Hope Mills, NC, and Michael (Tracy) Green, Sr., of Seattle, WA; daughter, Rozena Green of Germantown, MD; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Ternae Jordan, Sr. will be the eulogist.
