Hattie Lawrence's Obituary
Hattie Mae Lawrence, 66, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at her residence. She was a 1971 graduate of Riverside High School. She continued her education at Chattanooga State Community College and received her bachelor’s degree. Hattie retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Erlanger Health Systems. She was a member of Silver Crest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Davis; brothers, Thomas Davis, Anthony Davis, and Clifford Davis; sister, Johnnie Mae Davis; and sister-in-law, Annette Mathis. Survivors include her sons, Clarence (Jessica) Walker and Donnell (Chundon) Hayes; devoted niece, Charlette Davis, all of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, James Mathis, Eddie Davis, and Melvin (Linda) Davis; sister, Betty (John) Gordon, all of Commerce, GA; Pastor R.L. (Loretta) Trammell of Athens, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Pastor Randy Petersen will serve as the eulogist.
