Harrison Boswell's Obituary
Harrison Boswell, 58, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in a local healthcare facility. He was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools and was a 1984 graduate of Kirkman Technical High School. He was a member of Wesley Chapel Christian Community Church. Harrison was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Luetta Boswell; grandparents, Harrison and Louella Boswell, Samuel and Otis Thornton; brothers, Lance Boswell, Jimmie McClendon, and Johnny Boswell, Jr.; aunts, Penola Johnson and Thelma Mayfield. Survivors include his wife, Shawn Estes Boswell; son, Terrell Boswell; daughter, Danielle Boswell, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Emari Rollins, Eva Rollins, Arielle Boswell, Remy Boswell, Kobe Boswell, and Kaizlee Steward; brothers, Larry Boswell of Texas and Anthony Boswell of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Georgia Williams of Bronx, NY, Willie McClendon, and Johnnie (Vernard) Owens, both of Chattanooga; uncle, Clyde (Marie) Thornton of Akron, OH; aunts, Mary Watts of Washington, DC, Ollie G. Thornton of Bronx, NY, and Mamie Ries of Chicago, IL; mother-in-law, Betty Estes of Chattanooga; sister-in-law, Reva Boswell of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Harrison will lie-in-state on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Brenda Benn as the Eulogist. Burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
