Gwendolyn Sherrill Shorter's Obituary
Gwendolyn Sherrill Shorter, 68, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, in a local hospital. She was a member of Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church. Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Brundidge, Sr. and Elizabeth Brundidge; brothers, Micheal Brundidge, Bernard Brundidge, and Joe Brundidge, Jr.; sisters, Laverne Brundidge, Brenda Darwin, and Sandra Brundidge. Gwendolyn leaves to cherish her memories: husband of 17 years, Melvin Shorter; son, Demonte Cross, Sr.; daughter, Miracle McLemore, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Demonte Cross, Jr., Demiyah Cross, Sharnima Jones, Joeric McLemore, and Jordan Geter; brother, Wayne Brundidge; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.Pastor Gary Hathaway will serve as the eulogist.
