Gwendolyn C. Marsh's Obituary
Gwendolyn C. Marsh, 65, of Chattanooga, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 in a local hospital. She was a 1973 graduate of Riverside High School. She received her A.A. degree from Chattanooga State Community College. She was a member of the Breast Cancer Society, and founder of the Cupidetts-Chattanooga Chapter. She retired from the Hamilton County Schools. Gwendolyn was a member of New Monumental Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Chapman and Sadie Mae Turney Chapman; brother, Melvin Chapman. Survivors include her son, Prince A. Brown, Sr.; daughter, Melissa D. Watkins, both of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Savannah Brown, Prince A. Brown, Jr., and Giselle G. Meneese; brother, William Bynum of Madison, AL; sisters, Marie Stoudemire of Chattanooga, Shirley Chapman of Atlanta, GA, and Lottie Abbott of Decatur, Alabama. Pastor Robert Freeman will be the eulogist.
