Gwendolyn Hill's Obituary
Gwendolyn Hill, 80, transitioned from this earthly life peacefully on January 8, 2024 in a local hospital. She was born on April 13, 1943 to the union of Isaiah Hill and Elizabeth Ray. She was an exciting and fun person to be around. Gwen spent her holidays with her family and was always the life of the party. She spoke her mind freely and told her children and grandchildren to always advocate for themselves. Once you met her, she was sure to make a lasting impression and guaranteed to say something to make you laugh. Gwen worked at the local Hardee’s the last 15 years. She was preceded in death by her life companion, Edward Wilkes; parents, Isaiah Hill and Elizabeth Ray; sister, Thelma (Robert) Harris; brothers, Isaiah Hill Jr., Monte Hill, Sylvester Hill, and Shelby Hill; daughter, Anita Hill; grandchildren, GeLissa Toney and Shrone Hill.
