Gurdon Robinson Sr.'s Obituary
Gurdon Robinson, Sr., 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, in the Hospice Care Center. He was born July14, 1934 in Woodville, Alabama to Bedford and Mary Robinson. Gurdon attended and graduated from G.W. Carver High School in Scottsboro, Alabama. He was the 7th of 9 children. Gurdon was a truck driver for Chattanooga Box Company for many years and retired from there. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sons, Gurdon Robinson, Jr. of Texas and Reginald Robinson of Little Rock, Arkansas; sister, Martha Hereford of Antioch, TN; good friend, Jeff McClendon of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
