Gregory A. Suggs' Obituary
Gregory Alan Suggs, 28, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023. He was formerly employed by Sonic. Gregory was preceded in death by his grandmother, Cora L. Suggs; grandfather, Ben F. Suggs; aunt, La-Veria C. Suggs; cousins, Demetrius A. Suggs; and great-grandmother, Rosa Mae Suggs. Survivors include his daughters, Ember Skyee Panzier and Victoria Lee Rose Horne, both of Chattanooga; father, Gregory Barksdale, Sr. of Dallas, TX; mother, Avery Suggs of Chattanooga; brothers, Antonio (Iyone) Thomas, Dana Stitts, Benjamin Taylor, Stephen Taylor, all of Chattanooga, Joshua (Jennifer) Taylor of Atlanta, GA, Michael Barksdale, Jarvis Suggs, and Kenneth Bailey, Jr., all of Chattanooga; sisters, Olympia (DeWayne) Kennemer and La-Veria Taylor (Marco), both of Chattanooga; grandmother, Patricia Townsend; uncles, Jarvis (Ovasta) Suggs, Michael (Lisa) Suggs, and Carlos Suggs, all of Chattanooga; aunts, Alice Suggs, Tory Suggs, and Sherrie (Chad) Chubbs, all of Chattanooga; devoted friend, Hailey Webb; special friends, Kenneth Bailey, Sr. and Antonio “Daddy Ben” Taylor; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Walter Hambrick, Sr. will serve as the eulogist.
