Mr. Gregory Maurice Jester's Obituary
Gregory Maurice Jester, 62, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025, in a local hospital. He was born on May 27, 1963, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Pauline Jester-Kelley. He was educated in the Chattanooga Public Schools and was a graduate of Chattanooga City High School.
Gregory was a licensed barber and founder of “Kemet Hair Designer’s Barber Shop.”
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Jester-Kelley; his father, James Andrew Walton; his grandmother, Julia Davis; brothers, Haven Smith and Edward Jester.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Greg Jester; granddaughters, Jaden Jester and Celeste Jester; and grandson, Gregory Jester, Jr.; sisters, Belinda Smith and Juliette Walton; brothers, Galan Kelley, Dexter Smith, and Walter Walton; uncles, Calvin Walton and Donald (Deborah) Walton; great-aunt, Elaine Andrews; nieces, Jakayla Tilison and Erica Hughes; and nephew, Dereke Townsend-Kelley.
A memorial service for Gregory will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home.
