Gregory Appleberry, Sr.'s Obituary
Gregory Lebron Appleberry, Sr., 63, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at his residence. He attended Kirkman Technician High School. He was a member of the Chattanooga Racqueteers Tennis Association. Gregory was preceded in death by his mother, Delois Appleberry and father, Willis Newby, Sr. Survivors include his sons, Gregory Harris of Decatur, AL and Gregory Appleberrry, Jr. of Chattanooga; daughters, Sharon Appleberry, Cherrie Appleberry, Kawanna Starry, and Coltrese Reese, all of Chattanooga; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Jarvis Appleberry, Orlando Lightfoot, both of Chattanooga, Willis Newby, Jr., Donnie Newby and Ronnie Newby, all of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Theresa Williams, Stephanie Lightfoot, Deborah Newby, Terry Scruggs, and Tiki Lansden, all of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Pastor Vincent Dixon will serve as the eulogist.
