Gloria Jean Smith's Obituary
Gloria Jean Smith, 70, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 in a Fayetteville, GA hospital. She was a 1969 graduate of Howard High School. She graduated from Chattanooga State College with an associate degree in Advertising Arts. Gloria was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Mitcham and Lila Lee (Floyd W.) Jackson; brother, Jerry Mitcham; and sister, Theresa Mitcham. Survivors include her daughters, Dr. Pamela Smith-Ligon of Fairburn, GA, Tiffany S. (Ivan) Gunn of Nashville, TN, and Charla Eberhardt of Atlanta, GA; three granddaughters; one grandson; a host of other relatives and friends. George E. Woodruff, Jr. will serve as eulogist.
