Georgia Anna Stewart's Obituary
Georgia Anna Stewart, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, in a local hospital. She was a 1969 graduate of Howard High School, and later attended UTC. She was employed by the Chattanooga Public School System as a Teacher’s Assistant. Georgia was preceded in death by her mother, Delores Cook; father, George Autry, Sr., stepfathers, William Hogg, Sr., and James Cook; and brother, Broderick Autry. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Melvin Stewart; daughter, Dana (Marcus) Turney; two grandchildren, Hayla Turney and Makenna Turney; brothers, George (Brenda) Autry, Jr., Roderick Autry, and William M. (Brinita) Hogg, Jr.; sisters, Georgia Etta (LaMonte) Vaughn, and Janna Hubbard; several nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.
