Georgia M. Craighead, 93, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Monday, April 29, 2024, in a local healthcare facility. She was a former employee of Fehn’s Restaurant for over 40 years and East Ridge Hospital for 14 years. She was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Craighead; son, James Jackson; father, Eddie Mills, Sr.; mother, Ola Bolton Mills Andrews; sisters, Susie Trice McCurdy and Martha Mills Robinson; brothers, Ceasar Mills, Eddie Mills, Wille M. Andrews and Charlie L. Andrews. Those she leaves to cherish her memories include a devoted nephew/son, Gregg Trice; grandson, Gregory A. Trice, Jr., of Jackson, TN; niece, Annette Trice, of Chattanooga, TN; nephew, Terrance Andrews, Sr. of Cleveland, TN; sister, Ada Beatrice Andrews, of Atlanta, GA; brother, John H. Andrews, of Atlanta; great-nieces, LaTasia Beasley and Britni Bowens, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Georgia will lie-in-state on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the chapel. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
