Fredrick Eugene Sivels, Jr.'s Obituary
Fredrick Eugene Sivels, Jr. “June”, 51, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at his residence. He was a 1990 graduate of Howard High School and went on to study music at Knoxville College. Fredrick was a member of Greater Tucker Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend M.T. Billingsley. He was formerly employed by SMP Manufacturing as a welder and then went to Brown West Logistics @ KOMATSU as a forklift operator. His enjoyment was cooking, fishing, playing his trumpet, and was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. Fredrick was preceded in death by his father, Fredrick E. Sivels, Sr.; twin sons, Cedric and Fredrick Sivels; grandparents, Ethel and Snap Sivels; uncles, Jimmy Sivels, Columbus Sivels, and Tommie “Sweet” Sivels; aunts, Ethel Jean Sivels and Doris Boyd. Survivors include his wife, Kelli Sivels; son, Brandon; stepson, Markell McCroskey; mother, Ella Louise Sivels of Chattanooga; brothers, Edward (Dina) Maeweather of Chapel Hill, TN and Demetrius Freeman of Chattanooga; sisters, Cassandra Maeweather, Wanda Penn, and Felicia Sivels, all of Chattanooga; aunt, Diane Ellison of Chattanooga; favorite cousins, Pamela Garrett and William Boyd; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; best friend, Darryl “Too Tall” Roberts and many other friends. Pastor Gary Hathaway will serve as the eulogist.
