Frederick Moore's Obituary
Frederick “Freddy” Moore, 67, of Chattanooga, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at his residence. He attended Howard High School before joining the Marine Corp. Freddy was preceded in death by his father, Oscar “Buddy” Moore; mother, Vera Moore; brothers, Ervin M. Clay, Dewight L. Clay, and Oscar J. Moore. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 10 ½ years, Rhonda “Missie” L. Moore; sons, Damian Harris, of Cleveland, TN, and Frederick Moore, Jr. of Chattanooga; daughters, Shanese Moore and Felicia N. Moore, both of Chattanooga; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Mariam) E. Clay, of Chattanooga; sisters, Theresa (Clifford) Rucker, Linda (Douglas) Strickland, and Brenda (James “Bam” Cole) Moore, all of Chattanooga; 3 half-sisters, Terri J Thomas, Mildred A Taylor and Cheri Ricks; special cousin, Sharon (Clarence) Johnson; many other cousins, nieces, and nephews. Freddy will lie-in-state on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 noon with Pastor Ronald Cook, Sr. as the Eulogist. Burial in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
